What is prayer?

Prayer is more than an event or requests; it is about a relationship with God that has been restored through the work and blood of Jesus Christ. Prayer is the gift of communication that God allows us to have with Him. We can communicate with Him on our own, anywhere, and at any time. Christ also tells us that praying together, corporately, draws us closer to Him. Therefore, the Prayer Ministry at Westside is designed to connect you to the Lord, both personally and corporately. We want you grow deeper in your faith by seeking the Lord in your daily walk with Him. In addition to the time you spend personally praying, we have created opportunities for you to join other believers, in one accord, beseeching the Lord in regard to specific prayer needs, requests, and petitions.

Prayer Room

Our Prayer Room is located on the east side of church and is open anytime our church is open. During our Sunday morning services (9:30AM, 11:00AM), we invite you to come and pray for any requests or needs you may have, pray for our Pastor as he preaches God’s word, pray for God’s people to feel brokenness, pray for lost people to come to know Him, or pray for revival to occur.
