Please join us for our FIRST Westside Game Day 5K and One Mile Fun Run/Walk to be held at Westside Church Omaha on Saturday, September 9, 2017. This 5K is unique in that it brings together the Church and the community of Omaha in order to support Assure Women’s Center. Assure is one of our nation’s leading pregnancy centers. This is a family friendly event with music, food and raffles for all involved. The 5k run is approximately 3.1 miles, through the local neighborhoods. Once you’ve completed the run join us for some post-event festivities provided by 100.7 The Fish, Starbucks coffee as well as other vendors. Register now and join us!

What am I doing at the 5k run?
You can run or walk the course while having fun with friends and family. Then we will be celebrating at the finish-line with festivities such as music, food, drinks, vendors, and raffle prizes for a date night package as well as a family event package.
Is this a non-profit event?
Westside’s Game Day 5k is presented by Westside Church in Omaha on behalf of Assure Women’s Center which is a non-profit organization. All proceeds from this event will benefit Assure Women’s Center.
Can I walk the course?
Yes. Many people walk the 5K course in about an hour or less. We do ask that you head to the back of the starting line so the runners can lead the way.
Can I bring my child in our stroller?
Yes, but start at the very back please. We would like you to keep your children safe from the crazy stampede of people.
How do I register a child?
Children will need to be registered online through our site (or in person at the front kiosk in the church foyer). When counting numbers of waters, in-kind donations and other event related items, the number of children must also be considered. Therefore all children must be registered online or in person.
What is your refund policy?
If an event is canceled without a reschedule, refunds will be issued. In all other cases, we have a no refund policy, which is agreed upon when registering.
Can I bring my dog?
Although we are all dog lovers, we do not allow dogs at the event, with the exception of service animals. This is not only for the safety of participants but also for your pup.
If you do not find the answer to our question, please contact us.
